In order to pass unnoticed on the roads of Mordor, Frodo and Sam wear the garments of the Orcs. Fatigued by the journey through the mountains and rendered nearly hopeless by the unrelenting weight of the Ring, Frodo crosses the ashen wasteland with Sam at his side.
